Laura Cortese & Bert Ruymbeek

In their music, Laura Cortese and Bert Ruymbeek seek out the atmosphere of meaningful moments and turn it into sound and stories. Sometimes they sing, sometimes they play instrumental pieces, always in a direct interplay between fiddle and accordion. Their repertoire grows out of a shared interest in melody, rhythm and the places and people who shape them.
