Singer Amber Haddad grew up between two worlds: a Lebanese father, a Belgian mother. After her master's at the Conservatorium Maastricht, where she specialised in Arabic music, she poured both backgrounds into her debut album Trust (2022) — eight compositions about inner peace, written from experiences she lived through herself. On stage she is carried by Adil Benhsain's oud and Marijn Van Buel's double bass.

Simon Leleux and Manuel Hermia have known each other for some time, but only in 2025 did they bring their projects together — Hermia's Murmure de l'Orient and Leleux's Auster Loo Collective — in the duo album Metanoïa. Hermia plays the bansuri, the North Indian flute, as well as clarinet and soprano saxophone; Leleux answers with dohola, bendir and daf, Middle Eastern percussion instruments. Metanoia literally means "a change of view" — exactly what their music brings about.
